WWE PLE Plans Changed Due To AEW All In Texas 2025 Revealed WWE/AEW

WWE’s plans for an upcoming premium live event were reportedly changed due to AEW All In Texas 2025.

Next weekend sees a stacked weekend of wrestling from both WWE and AEW, with four big events total across the two companies.

On Saturday, July 12 WWE hosts NXT Great American Bash and Saturday Night’s Main Event in Atlanta, GA, while AEW stages its first-ever stadium show in North America with All In Texas from Arlington, TX’s Globe Life Field.

The following night (July 13) sees the return of WWE’s all-women PLE, Evolution, from Atlanta’s State Farm Arena.

Before WWE Evolution was officially announced by WWE, it was reported that the event was planned for Saturday, July 5, something the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer has now once again confirmed via a new post on social media.

In response to a Twitter user, Meltzer stated that the reason WWE changed the date of Evolution was due to wanting competition for AEW All In Texas, just in case that show was moved from Saturday, July 12 to Sunday, July 13.

Meltzer wrote:

It was originally to be held last night. They changed it when they got out of control trying to run three big shows next weekend because of All In. They wanted competition in case AEW moved to Sunday.

With a week to go until WWE Evolution, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce today announced yet another big title match for the show, with Becky Lynch defending the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.

Meanwhile in AEW, last night’s Collision saw two more title matches added to the card – with Adam Cole defending the TNT Championship against Kyle Fletcher and The Hurt Syndicate’s Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin defending the AEW World Tag Team Titles against JetSpeed (Kevin Knight & Speedball Mike Bailey) and The Patriarchy (Christian Cage & Nick Wayne).
