The October 28 episode of WWE Raw saw The New Day vs. LWO vs. The War Raiders in a No. 1 Contender’s match for the tag titles.
Highlights from the match can be seen below this news story with Erik & Ivar going on to be victorious.
With Woods continuing to act in a distinctly heel manner during the match, it would be interference from Chad Gable that would help secure the victory for The War Raiders.
WWE has now released footage of the interaction between Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods in the parking lot after Raw.
With The Miz frustrated that he can’t get hold of Bo Dallas, we see Kingston address Woods by saying:
“What’s the matter with you, bro? I had him on my knee. All you had to do is jump off the second rope and we could be competing for the tag team titles!”
Woods would point out that Rey Mysterio, “one of the best on the roster” would have broken that up, leading to further criticism from Kingston who stated:
“Bro, oh, so is this your plan then? To not contend for the tag team titles next week? Was that your plan?
“You being the whole QB thing, I don’t know if it’s really actually like…”

With mention of the quarterback role that Kingston had agreed upon for his New Day partner, Woods would interrupt saying:
“It’s what? It’s what? What about me being the QB, Kof?
“Matter of fact, you know what, why don’t we just get in the car and talk about this on the drive?
“We’re frustrated, let’s just cool down.”

Kingston would have the final word, responding to the suggestion by concluding:
“No, no, no, man. I’ll find my own ride.”
While it may be nearing the end of the road for the New Day, this all played out with The Miz being kidnapped by the Wyatt Sicks, something that Karrion Kross would later address.
