There has been a big update on WWE potentially introducing a Tribal Chief Championship following a report last week.
Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa are set to got to war over the Ula Fala on the WWE Raw on Netflix premiere on January 6 – the symbol of who truly leads The Bloodline and the Anoa’i family.
While WWE has put great importance on the Ula Fala throughout The Bloodline saga, WrestleVotes recently reported that the company had discussed introducing a Tribal Chief Championship, similar to The People’s Championship that was presented to The Rock.
Over a week on from this report, Dave Meltzer has shared a big update on whether WWE are in fact planning to follow through on these potential plans.
Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer revealed that WWE are in fact not planning to introduce a Tribal Chief Championship, but the Ula Fala will still be contested over:
Regarding reports of a new title being added called the Tribal Chief title, we’re told that’s not happening either. Now will guys feud over the ula fala, yes, obviously
