Women’s Champion Bayley has praised the women in WWE, and the booking of the company’s women’s division.
Friday’s (May 10) edition of SmackDown featured three singles matches in the women’s division, with Jade Cargill, Nia Jax and Bianca Belair advancing in the Queen of the Ring tournament.
Bayley has now taken to Twitter to note that she loved being able to sit back and watch the female stars showing what they can do.
The champion wrote:
These women are killing it and showing how important this #QueenOfTheRing tournament is. I love to be able to sit back and watch tonight #SmackDown
The current WWE Women’s Champion was only involved in one segment, where her backstage interview was interrupted by Chelsea Green and Piper Niven.
Bayley won the WWE Women’s Title from IYO SKY at WrestleMania 40. She successfully defended the gold at the May 4 Backlash premium live event against Naomi and Tiffany Stratton.
Naomi has shared an interesting reaction to losing in the first round of the Queen of the Ring tournament, which you can read more about right here.
