Following the September 2 edition of Monday Night Raw, Wade Barrett has shared praise of Joe Tessitore after his first night on the show.
On the September 2 episode of WWE Raw, former ESPN broadcaster Joe Tessitore made his debut as lead play-by-play commentator on the show.
Tessitore shared the commentary desk with long time color analyst and former WWE star Wade Barrett.
On September 3, Wade Barrett took to social media to share some praise for Joe Tessitore. He wrote:
Smashed it on his first day.. What an asset! The #WWERaw desk is going to be a LOT of fun over the next few months. Congrats @JoeTessESPN, it’s a pleasure working with ya @WWE!
Tessitore will provide play-by-play commentary on Monday Night Raw until the show’s premiere on Netflix in January 2025.
Tessitore will then move over to the SmackDown broadcast team, while Michael Cole and Pat McAfee will return to Monday Night Raw.
