Congratulations are in order for a WWE Hall of Famer, who has announced that he and his wife are expecting their first child together.

Rob Van Dam and Katie Forbes have revealed that “the next WWE Superstar” is on its way.

The former WWE Champion announced that he and his wife have a new arrival coming in 2026 during the latest edition of Van Dam’s 1 of a Kind podcast.

Ahead of the announcement, Van Dam emotionally spoke about the universe balancing things out, noting that he felt a big part of him was lost with Sabu’s passing.

The duo also shared an announcement post on Instagram, with the duo holding a baby onesie reading “the next WWE Superstar.”

Rob Van Dam and Forbes started dating in 2016, ahead of getting married in 2021. The duo regularly appeared together at wrestling shows away from WWE, notably in TNA Wrestling.

Van Dam was also inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2021. He last wrestled at MLW Battle Riot VII on April 5, competing in the 40-man Battle Riot match.
