WWE Star Discusses Run With Another Company During TV Absence WWE

A WWE star has addressed his run with another company, which took place amid his Raw and SmackDown absence.

While Omos hasn’t wrestled on WWE Raw or SmackDown since April 2024, the Nigerian star has been active in another promotion.

Omos wrestled seven matches for Japanese promotion Pro Wrestling NOAH in January, a run which saw him hold the GHC Tag Team Championship alongside Jack Morris.

Speaking with NarcolepsyBoy94, Omos noted that he had a great experience in Japan.

Noting that this excursion allowed him to discover more about himself as a performer, Omos said:

“I had a blast in my five weeks there, I had a lot of fun. I got to wrestle a lot of guys I never thought I would have the opportunity to wrestle.

“It was great to have that experience because that was my first time back wrestling since myself and MVP split, so it was great for me to go there and discover who I was.

“I’m still discovering that, but I was beginning to find elements of what I like and don’t like. I had a phenomenal experience.”

Omos also praised a current AEW star during the interview, stating that they had a tremendous effect on his career.

Omos made his AAA debut at Triplemania XXXIII in August, winning the Copa Bardahl match.
