WWE Producer Suffers An Injury During Royal Rumble

A WWE producer has suffered an injury during the Royal Rumble 2023 event.

WWE Hall of Famer Edge made his return to WWE at the #24 entrant in the Men’s Royal Rumble match.

After eliminating The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and Damian Priest, Edge attempted to eliminate Dominik Mysterio, but Balor and Priest returned to take out the Rated R Superstar.

Following this elimination, Edge chased and brawled with The Judgment Day up the entranceway. This would also include Rhea Ripley and Beth Phoenix getting involved as well.

PWInsider reports that WWE producer Ken “Dykstra” Doane suffered an injury during the brawl in the aisle at the Royal Rumble event.

At some point in the melee, Doane suffered a leg injury, which one source feared that it may have been a torn calf. He is scheduled to get an MRI to diagnose the injury as soon as possible.

Doane has been working as a backstage producer for the company since late 2021 and has been receiving praise for his work with putting together matches with the talent.
