A talent who recently returned to WWE is set to compete in a singles match for IMPACT Wrestling tonight.
On Before The Impact tonight, Shawn Daivari will go one-on-one with Jake Something. Reports emerged last week stating that Daivari had been re-hired by WWE, and was backstage for Friday Night SmackDown.
IMPACT advertised the match tweeting:

The match was of course taped before Daivari returned to WWE.
Daivari was released by WWE in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He returned to IMPACT at Bound For Glory 2020 during the Call Your Shot gauntlet match.
He will reportedly return to his producer role in WWE as the company prepares to return to touring. WWE hits the road again on July 16, ahead of Money in the Bank on July 18.
Tonight’s episode of IMPACT Wrestling will feature the in-ring debut of former WWE star Steve Cutler. Sami Callihan has also vowed to appear, despite getting fired at Against All Odds.
Next month, Slammiversary will be the first IMPACT show since the start of the pandemic to have a live crowd. The promotion has reportedly planned a “dangerous stipulation” match for the event.
