‘An Absolute Honor’ Former WWE Wrestler Names Matches They’re Proudest Of WWE

CJ Perry, aka Lana, has named the WWE matches she’s most proud of, from her previous in-ring run with the company.

While she originally served in a non-wrestling valet role, Lana made her WWE in-ring debut in 2016 and wrestled for the company up until May 2021.

Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Lana named her matches with Asuka and Nia Jax as the bouts she was proudest of.

Recalling training sessions with Natalya and Tyson Kidd, she said:

“I think my matches with Nia Jax. I did really like some of my matches with Asuka too. They were short, it was during the ThunderDome era, so a lot of the matches were more concise.

“I was training with (TJ Wilson/Tyson Kidd) and Nattie, and TJ’s a technical wrestling genius.

“I would bring to him stuff, like ‘I want to do more kicks, make it look like it’s an MMA or karate fight with more kicks.’ Asuka was the greatest person to do that with because she has so much of that style.

“I would bring Japanese matches to TJ like ‘how can we recreate this?’ that’s what we would do in training.

“Nia is a Samoan dragon. She is vicious, she is strong, she is powerful, and we all know that. It was an absolute honor to fight that woman.
