A few days ago, it was announced that Raw Women’s Champion Asuka would be one-on-one with SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley on next week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.
What was interesting was that Kairi Sane was in the background of the graphic. Sane hasn’t been seen on TV for a number of weeks, following an injury she suffered in a match with Nia Jax.
However, WWE has since edited out Kairi from the match graphic, suggesting that she won’t be appearing on next week’s episode of Raw alongside her Kabuki Warriors tag team partner.
It is important to note that Sasha Banks, who will be in Bayley’s corner for the match, hasn’t been edited out of the graphic. This was likely an error on WWE’s part.
This comes after a lot has been reported about Kairi Sane’s future within WWE and wrestling as a whole. It emerged earlier this week that a few months ago, WWE actually planned to send Sane back to Japan to serve as an ambassador for the company.
Another report then claimed that Sane is going to be returning to Japan to be with her husband. WWE has reportedly known about this for a number of months now. You can read more about that story by clicking here.
