Randy Orton’s Hilarious Reaction To AEW Star’s Finisher WWE

Randy Orton’s reaction to taking Malakai Black’s finishing move during his main roster run in WWE has been revealed.

Under the name Aleister Black, the AEW World Trios Champion joined WWE in 2016 and would make his main roster debut in 2019.

He worked with Orton a number of times, primarily on the WWE Live house show circuit in 2019.

Recalling one of their house show encounters, Black revealed Orton’s reaction to the Black Mass while speaking to Bobby Fish on The Undisputed Podcast, saying:

“Me and obviously Randy get into it and obviously, Randy being the most, the greatest… I cannot express how it is to be in there with Randy Orton who is just — he is a step above being a ring general.

“He just knows everything and the slightest body movement and every body — it’s insane how crazy good Randy is.”

Typically a devastating move when aimed at an opponent, that’s not quite the initial reaction that Orton gave, with Black adding:

“So it’s time to come for the heel kick and you know, I hit him with it and as I hit him with it, he goes, ‘Oh brother, that’s amazing’ and he falls down. It’s one of my favorite stories.”

During his time in WWE, Black held the NXT Championship and would remain with the company until his release in June 2021.

He would appear as Malakai Black for AEW on July 7 2021, forming Kings of the Black Throne with Brody King in January 2022, expanding to include Buddy Matthews as the House of Black in February 2022 and would later add Julia Hart to the group.
