Randy Orton returns to WWE NXT on October 8 and his opponent has reacted to the veteran star revealing their match.
With WWE NXT moving to The CW Network on October 1, last night’s show revealed some of what fans can expect, including CM Punk appearing on the Chicago show.
Last night’s WWE NXT also saw Je’Von Evans looking to ‘shoot his shot’, asking Ava for a match when NXT makes a two-part debut on The CW.
Randy Orton would reveal that he will be on the October 8 episode and revealed himself as Evans’ opponent in St. Louis.
Evans hasn’t been shaken by the opportunity to face the WWE SmackDown star, however, responding to the challenge in a tweet that read:
“Much Luv OG, But A Legend Isn’t A Legend Without Gettin Took Off The Top First💯See Ya On The 8th @RandyOrton”
Orton last appeared on WWE NXT back in February 2013, facing and beating Damien Sandow.
It was recently reported that Orton had signed a new five-year contract extension with WWE.
