Randy Orton To Break Impressive WWE Pay-Per-View Record At Survivor Series

Randy Orton is set to break an impressive WWE pay-per-view record with his match at Survivor Series this Sunday.

On the show, the Raw Tag Team Champions, Orton & Riddle of RK-Bro, will do battle with the SmackDown Tag Team titleholders, The Usos.

A Twitter user has pointed out that as per ProfightDB, This champions vs champions contest will be Orton’s 177th on WWE pay-per-view. Orton is currently tied with Kane for most all-time WWE/WWF pay-per-view matches at 176, so looks to pass The Big Red Machine’s record this weekend.

Behind Orton and Kane is The Undertaker, with 174 WWE pay-per-view bouts to his name, and Triple H, who has competed at 173 WWE specials, as per the database.

Orton’s first WWE pay-per-view match was during SummerSlam 2003, when he wrestled in the World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber bout. At Crown Jewel last month, Orton & Riddle defended their Raw Tag Team gold against AJ Styles and Omos.

Other title vs title bouts announced for Survivor Series include WWE Champion vs Universal Champion Big E, and Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch vs SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair.
