SmackDown Live
Moving onto the blue brand and the figures make for pretty ugly reading.
Much like the WWE Universal Championship match for Raw at GRR, Smackdown Live‘s WWE Championship match also ended in controversy, as a double count-out, with ‘Nutcracker’ Nakamura attacking retaining champion AJ Styles after the fact.
During the 50-man Rumble match on Friday, we also saw Big Cass eliminate the record-breaking Daniel Bryan in heartbreaking fashion.
Despite this and the ongoing tensions in the women’s division, SmackDown Live drew a pretty poor 2.46 million viewers, down from 2.55 million last week.
That might not sound too bad, but it is, in fact, SmackDown‘s lowest audience since October last year.
