Last week’s SmackDown Live scored 2.197 million viewers, which was quite the decrease from 2.401 million the week prior.
This week’s show was sold on WWE Champion AJ Styles having some more words to say to his SummerSlam challenger Samoa Joe, and also New Day vs. SAnitY and Aiden English vs. Andrade Almas.
Despite this, and it being the final episode before the second-biggest pay-per-view of the year, SmackDown‘s viewership decreased to just 2.189 million viewers.
A two-week decrease isn’t great in the lead-up to the ‘Biggest Party of the Summer,’ especially when the blue brand has actually been putting on some very consistent shows of late.
