An announcer change has been announced for the upcoming October 20 episode of WWE Raw in Sacramento, California.
Since the departure of Samantha Irvin, Alicia Taylor has been the primary ring announcer for the Raw brand and WWE premium live events.
However, Taylor will miss Monday’s October 20 show.
Lilian Garcia has announced on social media that she will be replacing Taylor for that episode. She wrote:
Back in my playground in 3 days as I sub in for the awesome @aliciataylorwwe on @wwe Monday Night Raw! 😊🤘🏼
Can’t wait to be reunited with all of you again! ❤️
For a few months after Samantha Irvin‘s WWE departure in late 2024, Garcia was the ring announcer for SmackDown before the hiring of Mark Nash for that role this past March.
Garcia has remained in the WWE system as the ring announcer for the Saturday Night’s Main Event specials and WWE & AAA Worlds Collide shows.
She’s also filled in on the main shows on a few other occasions.
Garcia initially spent 20 years with WWE from 1999 to 2019, before returning to the fold last year.
