Real Reason WWE Raw Segment Was Scrapped

Trish Stratus was reportedly at the arena but left before the segment she was planned for, so what happened?

It seems there was a last minute change of plans for tonight’s edition (February 20) of WWE Raw for one big segment.

While what occurred on tonight’s WWE Raw included a Ding Dong Hello segment with Bayley and Damage CTRL was interrupted by Becky Lynch and subsequently Lita.

With Lynch and Lita going on to issue a challenge for the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles, the segment was fairly mundane.

One interesting detail as yet to be discovered: according to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, Trish Stratus was listed internally as being set to appear in the segment however did not.

In an initial update from Fightful Select, they were able to confirm that Trish Stratus was physically at the show in Ottawa however left before the segment took place.

They were told “a creative change,” was what ended up happening but are planning on continuing the hunt for more details.
