Change To WWE Raw Commentary Team

Change To WWE Raw Commentary Team WWE

For tonight’s WWE Raw from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia there was a change up to the typical commentary team for the Monday night show.

Since Raw was taped last night, the day after Crown Jewel, the show did not feature the regular commentary team combination of Wade Barrett and Joe Tessitore.

Instead, it was just the same team that called Crown Jewel, as Michael Cole and Corey Graves were back behind the commentary desk for Raw.

The ring announcer situation was the same, as NXT’s Mike Rome was the one who made the journey to Saudi Arabia for both Crown Jewel and Raw.

Raw kicked off with an in-ring segment from Liv Morgan who was celebrating her WWE Crown Jewel Championship win before she was interrupted by another pair of champions.

Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair would come out to the ring to confront Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, as Morgan tried to suggest that Belair and Cargill could have some issues that would lead to them splitting up.

However, rather than fighting straight away, Adam Pearce would come out to interrupt the potential brawl to announce that there would be a Women’s World Championship number one contender’s battle royal to determine who was next for Morgan’s title.

Pearce also announced that the battle royal would kick off tonight’s show.

The battle royal was won by IYO SKY, who will now go on to challenge Morgan for the Women’s World Championship some time in the near future.
