A WWE star who has been drafted to Raw for quite some time but had yet to debut finally popped up on tonight’s show.
While there was a match going on between the Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar) and the New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) on tonight’s August 5 edition of WWE Raw, there was clear interference from Karrion Kross at ringside to help AOP.
When the deck seemed far too stacked against New Day, a brand new ally emerged from the back to even things up.
Odyssey Jones came out to the ring and took out Akam and Rezar at the same time, before then also taking out Karrion Kross.
While Kofi Kingston was thrilled to see Odyssey Jones arrive on the scene, Xavier Woods looked puzzled.
In a backstage segment after the match, Kofi Kingston was very enthusiastic about introducing Jones and Woods to each other.
However, it should be noted that Woods seemed a little put off by not knowing about the friendship beforehand.
Kingston explained that he had met Jones at the Performance Center while he was rehabbing and let him know they needed a third to even the odds against Final Testament.
Before any further tension could be explored, Akira Tozawa instead came up to the trio with Maxxine Dupri and Otis, and they all did a dance together.
