Maybe one day WWE will learn that putting Baron Corbin in the main event is a bad idea . . .
Last night’s episode of Raw pulled a measly 2.374 million viewers, the lowest rating since January 7th. This was down almost 300,000 from the previous week’s Superstar Shakeup.
The first hour started at 2.68 million viewers, which was decent enough, but it dropped over half a million viewers between the first and third hour, which was headlined by AJ Styles vs. Baron Corbin for a shot at WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins at Money In The Bank.
WWE typically goes through a post-WrestleMania malaise and actually dropped half a million viewers week to week this time last year. The difference is that the drop left Raw with 3.1 million viewers, significantly higher than this year’s rating.
