Results for tonight’s episode (April 18, 2022) of WWE Raw –

The show kicked off with a promo segment between Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins with Rollins’ challenging Cody to a match with an opponent of Seth’s choosing, tonight on Raw! Cody accepts.

Naomi and Sasha Banks retained their Women’s Tag Team Championships against Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley with Ripley taking the pin from Banks; after the match Ripley attacked Morgan.

Sonya Deville has an in-ring promo explaining she wants to challenge the bEST and that is Bianca Belair but it isn’t personal, Belair interrupts and is ready to fight tonight. Sonya refuses, Bianca sets her up for a K.O.D. but Deville reminds her she is currently acting as an official so Bianca has to put her down. Belair obliges, albeit not so delicately and backstage it is revealed that Adam Pearce does fine Bianca for this action against Sonya after her complaints – Bianca pays her $1 fine in front of Sonya.

Veer Mahaan destroys someone named Jeff Brooks. Veer got the submission victory via cervical clutch after manhandling Brooks, sending him out on a kayfabe stretcher.

A delightful K.O. Show where Chad Gable administers a lie detector test to Ezekiel which he passes, confirming that he is not Elias. Gable and Ezekiel have a match afterward which ends in Ezekiel winning via DQ after being attacked by Otis.

RK-Bro versus Street Profits put on an enjoyable match by which RK-Bro get distracted by The Usos music hitting, leading to a pinfall victory on Riddle. After the match, the Profits ponder who could arrange to have the Usos music hit during their match and remind RK-Bro that they don’t need to just be worried about the Usos on WWE Raw.

In a passionate promo from his purple-lit throne, Edge complained about Damian Priest’s booking and officially challenged AJ Styles for WrestleMania Backlash, telling him that it was his “judgment day.”

Styles responded in a locker room interview by initially mocking Priest and Edge but the lights began to flicker, and Edge and Priest appeared to attack Styles, targeting his shoulder.

Theory defeated Finn Balor for the United States Championship, winning clean via pinfall; after the match, he had an in-ring celebration and then another on the ramp that included Vince McMahon.

The 24/7 Championship wedding was everything you would expect from a wacky WWE in-ring wedding, including teasing two women kissing however ultimately, Reggie rolled up Dana Brooke to become the new 24/7 champion, who was then rolled up and pinned by Tamina to become the new 24/7 champion, who was then rolled up by Akira Tozawa to become the new 24/7 champion until Dana Brooke hit a crossbody from off the top rope to pin Tozawa, reclaim her 24/7 Championship and then rode R-Truth like a horse, probably in a ‘topical’ reference to the 1999 film, Runaway Bride because it’s WWE.

Bobby Lashley was about to be interviewed but was cut off by a video from MVP and Omos who challenge him to an arm-wrestling match next week.

The main event saw Seth Rollins reveal his mystery opponent for Cody Rhodes to be Kevin Owens; Rhodes goes on to pick up the win over K.O. via count-out after Seth Rollins’ delivered too many verbal insults to Owens who got irritated with Rollins walked away from the match.
