The real reason why a Jey Uso attack angle happened after WWE Monday Night Raw went off the air has been revealed.
The May 5 Raw episode was headlined by a World Heavyweight Championship match, with Seth Rollins winning via disqualification following interference from Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker and CM Punk.
While the show ended with Jey Uso as champion, the titleholder was attacked by Logan Paul after the Netflix stream ended.

This angle left many speculating as to why it took place after the show, rather than happening live on Netflix.
Per Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, this angle taking place after WWE Raw went off the air was by design. The idea was that WWE would push this angle on social media.
Meltzer added that WWE’s mentality was to “surprise people” with an angle after the show went off the air.
Jey Uso won the World Heavyweight Championship from GUNTHER at WrestleMania 41, ending GUNTHER’s 258 day reign.
