WWE Star Suffers Legitimate Injury Mid-Match, Removed Immediately WWE

A WWE star suffered a legitimate injury during their match on tonight’s episode of Raw, resulting in them being removed from the match.

Tonight’s May 19 edition of Raw in Greenville, South Carolina played host to two women’s three-way Money in the Bank qualifying matches.

The first was won by Roxanne Perez, as she defeated Natalya and Becky Lynch after Lynch was taken out of the match by Lyra Valkyria.

Later, the second qualifier featured Rhea Ripley, Zoey Stark and the returning Kairi Sane.

Early on in the match, Stark attempted her big springboard dropkick, but landed badly on her leg in the ring and immediately called for medical attention.

Michael Cole on commentary mentioned that there was a belief she made have re-injured the knee that she’d previously had surgery on.

Stark was then immediately removed from the match as Ripley and Sane continued one-on-one.

It would end up being Ripley who scored the win, as she will now join the aforementioned Roxanne Perez and SmackDown’s Alexa Bliss in the women’s WWE Money in the Bank ladder match.
