Surprise Return Challenges For WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship

On WWE Raw, a legendary surprise return joined a current member of the roster to challenge Damage CTRL for their titles!

During a Ding, Dong, Hello segment with Damage CTRL, Bayley and her comrades were interrupted by Becky Lynch.

After some verbal sparring with Bayley, Becky went on to introduce a friend who would be helping her challenge Damage CTRL for the WWE Women’s Tag Team championships.

It was then that WWE legend Lita came out to join Becky Lynch!

After last being seen giving Lynch the assist at the end of her steel cage match with Bayley, Lita has been rumored to be returning as WWE continues down the road to WrestleMania.

One interesting detail as yet to be discovered: according to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, Trish Stratus was listed internally as being set to appear in the segment however did not.

We’ll keep you posted with any developments on what happened with Stratus as the story develops.
