WWE Raw LIVE COVERAGE – August 27, 2018 – WrestleTalk

BED TIME

All in all, a much better episode of Raw than last week.

Strowman turning heel, Trish Stratus’ return and the IC title match were all very good.

Hopefully Owens won’t have “quit” for too long. I love that man far too much to not see him for weeks.

Thanks for following the live report following my technical issues. I love you all.

4.12am

So, Braun Strowman is turning heel.

He allowed Drew and Dolph to attack Roman until they got themselves disqualified. The trio began attacking Roman, but out came Dean and Seth to try and help. Unfortunately, they weren’t much help and Drew, Dolph and Braun stood tall.

It looks like we’ve got our main event for next week.

3.58am

Right, so it’s time for the main event. Roman and Strowman vs Drew and Dolph.

Also, the Revival vs The B-Team has been booked for next week, but this time it’s for the tag belts.

3.49am

Jinder Mahal vs Dean Ambrose.

Clearly Dean was jealous of Jinder’s giant nipples and has decided to wrestle topless.

This show is going to go long. Very long.

3.39am

Oh yeah, the Ascension still exist.

They’re taking on Bobby Lashley in a handicap match. I wonder who’s going to win this.

3.29am

I think this might be the worst thing I have ever seen.

The Bellas are backstage, they announce to Ronda, Natalya and Trish that they’re back in action next week, and then they all take a selfie.

Eugh.

3.22am

Natalya beats Alicia Fox in about 4 seconds. What a total show-stealer.

Thankfully everyone’s really good friends.

3.19am

Ronda Rousey vs Alexa Bliss is confirmed for Hell in a Cell.

I give it 2 minutes.

3.11am

“Sorry Trish, I don’t date women in their 60s.”

Ouch.

Meanwhile, we have to sit through Natalya vs Alicia Fox. Please no.

3.06am

So…Trish Stratus just returned to interrupt Elias.

It’s almost as if this is an advert for an upcoming all women’s pay-per-view.

3am

So SummerSlam will be in Toronto next year.

But more importantly, it’s time for Elias, who gets a huge cheer just for saying hello.

2.53am

Shows what I know.

The Revival give the B-Team their first loss as a newly named tag team and will almost certainly go on to face each other for the titles at Hell in a Cell.

Just give them the titles and move on.

2.43am

Up next we’re going to have to sit through the Revival vs The B-Team again.

How will the B-Team accidentally win this week?

2.39am

Kevin Owens is still in the ring. Maybe he’s waiting for the Bellas?

“I Quit”. Oh.

2.30am

Kevin Owens goes one step too far, trying to hit a moonsault on Seth Rollins. He misses with the move, leaving himself open for a curb stomp.

A very good TV match and actual proof that Kevin Owens is still brilliant.

2.23am

Surprise surprise. Kevin Owens is having a good match when he’s not booked like a bag of s***.

He deserves a break from Braun Strowman and that feud ran its course a long time ago.

2.17am

Right…so now that we’re actually doing this, it looks like we’re set for another belter between Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens.

Doubt Owens is going to pick this one up, but we’ll just have to see what happens…after this commercial break.

Wait, what? Why am I doing this? Where’s Liam?

Oh whatever, yeah it’s me again everyone, and I’m back with a bang to keep you up to date with Raw and all things Raw-y.

We’ll be starting our live coverage from the beginning of the show on both Twitter and right here, so don’t be going anywhere.

If the preview is anything to go by, watching me type might actually be more exciting than anything else, so do be sure to follow my every word in case you blink and miss something.

SWAFT.
