Raw Star Calls Out WWE Over Match Announcement

A Raw star has called out WWE over a match announcement, ahead of Monday’s (December 2) show.

As was well documented during his rivalry with Sheamus, Pete Dunne hates his former main roster ring name ‘Butch’.

Naturally, this means that many people have feigned ignorance and called Dunne ‘Butch’ anyway.

WWE referenced this situation when promoting Pete Dunne vs R-Truth, which is set for Monday’s Raw episode.

Referring to Dunne as “whatever you prefer to call him”, the WWE Twitter account posted:

R-Truth takes on … whatever you prefer to call him tomorrow night on #WWERaw!

Dunne has now responded to this caption, asking:

Who’s the admin???

Pete Dunne’s rivalry with Sheamus ended with the Celtic Warrior defeating Dunne in a Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook match on the October 7 Raw episode.

Sheamus has since stated that Dunne has earned his respect, and now refers to Dunne by his current ring name.
