With WWE Raw heading to Netflix in January 2025, a commentary team change that is coming in September will change once more.
It was recently revealed that Joe Tessitore will join the WWE Raw commentary team from September 2 with Michael Cole moving to SmackDown.
Dave Meltzer has provided details of the commentary team structure for WWE Raw on Netflix in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, writing:
“Those at WWE have confirmed what Cole said was accurate. In January, Cole will be moved back to Raw on Netflix while Tessitore will become the lead announcer for Smackdown on USA.”
At the time of writing, it isn’t known who will be joining Cole and Tessitore on their respective commentary teams.
Currently, Michael Cole is partnered by Pat McAfee on Raw, while the SmackDown team is Corey Graves and Wade Barrett.
It has been stated, by PW Insider, that Cole and McAfee will be the commentary team for WWE Raw on Netflix.
Tessitore joined WWE on July 9, 2024, having worked for ESPN and ABC where he covered college football and boxing.
