New details have been reported on the status of commercial breaks on WWE Raw when it comes to Netflix in 2025.
With the historic announcement that WWE Raw’s new broadcast partner would be streaming giant Netflix beginning in January 2025, many have questioned what changes may come to the program.
Perhaps one of the biggest wonderings from fans is whether WWE Raw will be going commercial-free when it moves to Netflix.
Now as revealed on Twitter by CNBC’s Alex Sherman, it seems as if ads may become a thing of the past:
A new detail from the Netflix/Raw deal:
For Netflix subs that don’t get ads (the vast majority of y’all)…
Raw matches will be scripted around commercial breaks. So you’ll get some non-important match action (sustained headlocks!) instead of commercials.
You won’t get ads.
Netflix currently offers many different tiers of subscriptions, one of which does include ads for a cheaper overall monthly cost, however this is not often a popular choice as Sherman says.
