WWE has shared the cold open video package which will play at the beginning of the Netflix premiere edition of Monday Night Raw.
Starting tonight (January 6), anyone with a Netflix account will be able to watch Monday Night Raw, WWE’s longest-running weekly TV show.
Because of this, millions of people will be able to watch WWE – or pro-wrestling in general – for the first time.
WWE has now released the video package which will air at the beginning of the episode. The cold open – which you can watch below this news story – gives an impactful introduction to wrestling, so would be a perfect intro for anyone who doesn’t know their Dragon Sleepers from their DDTs.
The visually striking cold open featured narration from WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H, and featured clips of numerous top WWE stars.
The January 6 Raw episode has a stacked card, with several main-event worthy matches taking place.
Here’s the announced card for tonight’s show:
Liv Morgan (c) vs Rhea Ripley – Women’s World Championship
Roman Reigns vs Solo Sikoa – Tribal Combat
