There were two NXT stars on hand for tonight’s WWE Raw, including a popular current champion as the pair had a match against each other.
UPDATE: Oba Femi made a brief appearance on Raw in a staredown with Otis from the crowd.
Present tonight in Austin, Texas for WWE Raw on August 12, two NXT stars had matches in front of the live crowd.
In one match taped for WWE Main Event, NXT North American Champion Oba Femi took on another NXT star, Dante Chen.
Also in the second match taped for Main Event, Dragon Lee took on Ludwig Kaiser.
The matches will likely air on this week’s episode of Main Event on Hulu, which will go up on the WWE Network/Peacock in a few weeks.
Set for tonight’s episode of WWE Raw, Sami Zayn looks to regain his Intercontinental Championship with a 2-out-of-3 falls match against Bron Breakker.
Also, Rhea Ripley will kick off tonight’s WWE Raw, while later, her only remaining former Judgment Day ally Damian Priest will take on another member of the new version of the group.
Damian Priest has a match against Carlito on tonight’s WWE Raw.
Also, a women’s tag team match pitting Kairi Sane and IYO SKY against Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler, and the former Alpha Academy (Otis and Akira Tozawa) will face Julius and Brutus Creed from American Made.
