There has been an update on a former AEW star thought to be joining WWE ahead of the WWE Raw on Netflix debut.
Tonight, Raw will stream on Netflix for the first time with plenty of surprises set for the big show.
One of the biggest that has been built up by WWE is the debut of former AEW star Penta El Zero Miedo, with vignettes airing on Raw in recent weeks.
According to Fightful Select, WWE talent are expecting Penta to be making his debut at tonight’s Raw on Netflix premiere from Los Angeles, however, they could not confirm if this is in the company’s plans or not.
Reports over the Summer alleged that Penta and his real-life brother Rey Fenix were set to sign for WWE at the same time when their respective AEW contracts expired towards the end of 2024.
However, while Penta’s deal would expire, freeing him up to move to WWE, Fenix instead saw his deal extended due to injury time.
Elsewhere confirmed for the Raw on Netflix debut, appearances from Hulk Hogan, John Cena, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, The Rock and The Undertaker.
