The August 12 episode of WWE Raw saw The Final Testament continue their feud with The New Day’s Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston.
With The New Day now joined by Odyssey Jones, Karrion Kross would muse that Kingston was replacing Big E, as can be seen in the footage below this news story.
What may have been missed by some is the tribute that Paul Ellering paid to Kevin Sullivan, known to WCW fans as Taskmaster.
Sullivan passed away at the age of 74 on August 9, 2024 following health issues in recent months that stemmed from an accident at an autograph signing in May.
Ellering revealed his tribute to the late Kevin Sullivan in a post on Twitter that read:
“The Final Testament pays tribute to Kevin Sullivan. RIP Taskmaster. “Laos Deo”
“@WWE #RAW. #TFT will Crusade ever forward teaching enlightenment and sacrifice.”
The Latin phrase “Laos Deo” roughly translates to ‘praise be to God’ in English.
To find out what Triple H, Adam Pearce, Tony Schiavone and more had to say regarding Sullivan’s passing follow this link here.
WrestleTalk would like to extend our condolences to Sullivans friends, family and all those affected by his passing.
