Finally, WWE did something good with Sasha and Bayley, and now they’re going to ruin it by making them have counselling sessions, because, well, it worked with Daniel Bryan and Kane, so why not try it again?
I was really hoping that this was a full turn for the hugger. The crowd were actually into her for the first time in about 87 years, so it’s confusing as to why they haven’t thought to make the most of this sudden momentum by having her properly turn heel.
I know she’s supposed to be the kids’ favorite, but she also needs to feel relevant.
Banks on the other hand also received her biggest pop in months, simply by being beaten up by Bayley. Now, I don’t know about you, but if someone threw me into some stairs several times, I wouldn’t just say: “Oh well, let’s just have some counselling, that’ll sort it out.”
The issue is that neither Bayley or Sasha has any level of proven comedy timing or acting, so there’s a real danger these skits will be about as funny as splashback.
What else is new…oh yeah, we’ll probably see some sort of continuation of the Braun Strowman vs every other upper mid-card/main event talent on Raw.
His gimmick at the moment seems to be that he’s so terrifying that he can get literally anyone he likes to tag with him and win. Last week he tagged with Kevin Owens, and then destroyed Owens’ car…as you do.
This week I imagine he’lll team with Baron Corbin before destroying his unicycle – it’s the logical next step.
And speaking of logic, you would assume that Seth Rollins is pretty upset that his rematch for the Intercontinental Championship ended in a disqualification after he was attacked by Drew McIntyre.
He was then saved by Roman Reigns, and you know what that means playas, we’re (probably) gonna have ourselves a tag team match tonight.
Drew and Dolph better win.
The Rest
- The B-Team will probably continue their winning run, perhaps Bo will beat real life brother Bray?
- Alexa will cut a wonderfully scathing promo and then run away from Nia Jax.
- Kurt Angle will be on the phone, and will then be antagonized by Constable Corbin.
- Hopefully Elias.
