Traditionally, WrestleMania season will see WWE enjoy a spike in ratings as anticipation builds for the biggest show on the calendar. That has been the case pretty much every year for the past 20 years.
Not in 2019 though, with Raw struggling to retain audience interest as the Road To WrestleMania marches on.
Monday’s broadcast on 25/3 pulled an average of just 2.589 million viewers, which is down a fair chunk from the previous week’s 2.695 million, which in itself was a drop from the 2.810 on 11/3.
Raw has yet to average over 3 million in 2019, which is unheard of at this time of year. This time last year the show was pulling over 3 million every week in the run up to the Granddaddy Of Them All.
At this stage it is far from a lock that the traditional biggest Raw of the year, the post-WrestleMania episode, will even break that number.
