WWE Raw Rating Up For Second Week Running

WWE Raw Rating Up For Second Week Running

There is good news for WWE with last night’s Raw rating, which is slightly up (1%) from last week, pulling 2.39 million viewers.

Once again WWE faced stiff competition from football (11.89 million) and baseball (4.22 million).

WWE did the lowest rating of the modern era two weeks ago then bounced back slightly last week, which was attributed in part to the post-pay-per-view bump coming off Super Show-Down.

There was a feeling that this week’s episode might fall below the unwanted record due to the stiff competition and lack of PPV bump, so for the number to increase is definitely a positive sign.

The reason for the increase could be down to Kurt Angle and DX being advertised (although Kurt did not wrestle as promised and DX did not appear in front of the camera) or interest in how WWE would handle the Saudi Arabia situation.

The third hours were 2.49 million for the first hour, almost identical for the second hour with 2.48 million and the usual drop off in the third hour to 2.22 million.

Are WWE’s ratings bouncing back or will they fall again? Let us know in the comments below.
