WWE has changed a beloved entrance theme and fans have already reacted with some strong opinions.
On tonight’s edition of WWE Raw (November 21) a new entrance theme was debuted for Johnny Gargano.
While the song was still basically the anthem many love (‘Rebel Heart’) it was a decidedly new version of the tune.
The primary difference is that the lead vocal is no longer performed by the signature female singer and now it is a more male sounding tone.
The beloved version of ‘Rebel Heart’ is by CFO$ (an American song writing and producing duo known for working on numerous WWE entrance themes) so perhaps there was no choice but to change it.
The totally measured and reasonable fans of wrestling Twitter have already erupted with a variety of hilarious gifs and reaction memes along a spectrum of outrage.
What do you think of Johnny Gargano’s new theme? In other news, Gargano’s gear looked new too, so let us know all your thoughts in the comments!
