A WWE Raw star will reportedly be on hand for the premiere of WWE SmackDown on the USA Network tomorrow (September 13).
According to a report from PWInsiderElite, World Heavyweight Champion and WWE Raw star GUNTHER is planned for an appearance in Seattle at tomorrow night’s SmackDown.
While the episode will mark the 2024 premiere on the USA Network, an appearance by GUNTHER has not been announced for the show.
It is entirely possible GUNTHER is just on hand for a dark match, but it remains to be seen if perhaps the USA Network debut of SmackDown will see any surprise guests to mark the occasion.
Elsewhere already announced for the show – Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes, and Austin Theory & Grayson Waller will take on Kevin Owens and a mystery partner.
Earlier today, WWE CCO Paul Levesque (Triple H) made the announcement that tomorrow’s premiere edition of SmackDown on USA Network would begin with a championship match.
Cody Rhodes puts the Undisputed WWE Championship on the line against Solo Sikoa in a steel cage match to kick off the show.
