WWE fans were left confused following this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, when AJ Styles appeared on the show despite being drafted to SmackDown in the 2023 WWE Draft.

Styles had competed for the right to become the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion at Night of Champions, with his appearance on Raw reportedly being a Vince McMahon call.

It seems as though the crossover between Raw and SmackDown stars may not be over with AJ’s appearance on Raw, however.

WWE shared an advertisement for upcoming live events featuring Cody Rhodes on Twitter earlier today, with one date in particular standing out.

The post had Cody advertised for this week’s episode of SmackDown in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania.

Cody challenged Brock Lesnar to an open challenge on this week’s episode of Raw following his loss to the Beast at Night of Champions.
