WWE Raw Star Addresses Comparisons To Former NWO Member

Dominik Mysterio has become one of the most entertaining members of the Raw roster since he turned heel on his father and joined the Judgment Day.

Recently, Dominik has begun wearing flannel and a bandana after serving extended hard times in prison following his arrest on Christmas Day.

The new look of Dominik has brought on a lot of comparisons to Konnan’s run in the NWO Wolfpac, where he sported a similar look, leading many to wonder if the similarities were intentional.

Dominik spoke to Nick Hausman of Wrestling Inc prior to the Royal Rumble, where he was asked about the comparisons to Konnan.

Dominik explained that, while it originally wasn’t intentional, he will lean into it more going forward.

He said:

“I had a flannel, and we made it work, and after that, I saw on the internet that I was just getting tagged in all the — like you said — NWO Konnan stuff and Wolfpac and Filthy Animals Konnan. And he reached out to me. He’s like, ‘Did you do that on purpose?’ I was like, ‘No, but now I will.'”
