Candice LeRae Hopes To Reunite The Way Faction

Former NXT star Candice LeRae made her return to WWE last month, when she arrived on Raw as the opponent for Nikki A.S.H.

Candice’s return seemed inevitable following Johnny Gargano’s return to the company a few weeks earlier, with both husband and wife making surprise appearances on Raw shows in Canada.

The returns of Gargano and Candice, as well as that of Dexter Lumis earlier, mean that every member of NXT’s The Way faction (Dexter was never an official member but was very heavily associated with the group) is now back in WWE, with only Indi Hartwell not being on Raw right now.

Candice spoke to Muscle Man Malcolm about her ongoing issues with Damage CTRL, and was asked if she would join the group, or perhaps make her own to combat Bayley, Dakota Kai and IYO SKY.

Candice opted for a different option, stating that she would like The Way to make a return.

She said:

“I’d like The Way to come back! We have Dexter now so we can… Theory can figure his life out and then we’ll get there… What is he doing? He went away to college, has a job now and he’s better than all of us.”

Gargano is currently feuding with Austin Theory, so the reunion of the group won’t likely happen for a while at this point.

Candice is doing well though, recently picking up a huge victory over Bayley. She also spoke to Malcolm about when exactly she knew she would be returning to WWE.
