WWE Raw To Host HUGE SummerSlam Segments!

WWE Raw To Host HUGE SummerSlam Segments!

The countdown clock to SummerSlam has begun and in anticipation of the ‘Biggest Party of the Summer’, Raw will host three huge segments leading into this Sunday.

Firstly, we have the contract signing for the WWE Intercontinental Championship Match between Seth Rollins and Dolph Ziggler. This was mooted to be a multi-man match some weeks ago to avoid the reaction their Extreme Rules Iron Man Match received, but as of yet has seen no change. Tonight is the last chance.

Drew McIntyre deserves a spot in this bout which would lead to a feud between the Scotsman and the ‘Showoff’. A Handicap Match disguised as a triple threat encounter would be the perfect lead-in to a Dean Ambrose return.

Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss steps into the squared circle with Ronda Rousey at SummerSlam, but first she must survive the onslaught of Natalya on tonight’s edition of the red brand. Both the ‘Baddest Women on the Planet’ and Alicia Fox will be at ringside for this clash, and with rumors of a Natalya heel turn on Sunday, we could see tension build between the friends which will eventually cost Ronda the strap.

Lastly, the B-Team will defend the Raw Tag Team Championships against the Deleters of Worlds and the Revival in a Triple Threat Match. Seen as transitional champions, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel are expected to drop the gold on Sunday which this clash should lead to. There has been huge speculation this will lead to a match with the Revival on the seven hour spectacle – probably on the Kick-off – which can only be good news for Dash and Dawson. They’re too good to languish.

WrestleTalk would like to know your views on tonight’s Raw, if you think it looks better than previous weeks, and if the Revival can still be the savior of Raw’s doubles league. You can contact us on Twitter and Discord today.
