WWE Star Reveals Interesting Fact About Raw Underground WWE

A WWE star has made an interesting admission about the Shane McMahon helmed grittier hour of WWE Raw, Raw Underground.

In case you had the good fortune of missing that finite moment in WWE history, here is the quick recap – the third hour of Raw was positioned as ‘Raw Underground’ where in lieu of fights in front of a stadium live crowd, the fisticuffs took place within an entirely different space.

With its own bouncer in , accessing ‘Raw Underground’ transported talent into a different place entirely where street fight style fights broke out between wrestlers with Shane McMahon serving as a hype man.

Also notable in the ‘Underground’ were a variety of scantily clad dancers.

Now, according to Omos a fascinating piece of information as the initial reason given for the end to the gritty segment was on-going concern for COVID-19 outbreaks.

Omos appeared on the Say Less With Kaz, Lowkey and Rosy podcast and reflected on his work on Raw Underground.

Omos reflected on the segments with overall positivity, noting he felt it helped him saying:

“It was a lot of fun because, at first, I was very quiet, and then as we progressed, Shane was just like, ‘Get good at promos and stuff that people say to you.’ He was like, ‘You know what? I’m just going to spitball, and you spitball back to me.’ It became interactive, and I think that kind of helped me go forward.”

Sharing a detail that shocked him at the time, Omos said of the extras on set to dance sexily for the segments:

“I first thought they were just actors, but they were like, ‘No, these are literally just strippers.’ And I’m like, ‘Whoa.'”

Whoa indeed!

Omos continues to dominate in WWE with a current win/loss record for 2022 of 16-8-0.
