As the dust settles from the Royal Rumble, WWE Raw now looks ahead to Elimination Chamber. Unfortunately for the company, the viewership for their flagship show took a dip once again this week.
Showbuzz Daily is reporting that the show garnered an average of 1.715 million viewers for their February 8, 2021, episode. This was down from last week’s average of 1.892 million viewers.
Showbuzz Daily also reported that the key 18-49 male demographic began at 0.66 for the first hour of the show before dropping to 0.65 for the second hour and again to 0.63 for the final hour.
WWE began the build to Elimination Chamber, announcing the six participants who will enter the titular structure. Sheamus, Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles, The Miz, and Randy Orton will all challenge Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship at the event.
This week’s episode of Raw also drew the ire of casual fans at least on Twitter because of Nia Jax. During her Tables match with Lana, Jax missed a legdrop on the apron and shouted “my hole!” which has since trended on Twitter.
