John Cena made his return on this Monday’s episode of WWE Raw to celebrate his 20th anniversary as a WWE star, which was very nice.
Cena cut a very heartfelt promo, and because it’s John Cena, it was really good.
Despite the fact that Cena made his return, viewership was slightly down from last week’s show, which saw Vince McMahon announce the pre-announced return of John Cena.
The show brought in 1.951 million viewers on average, which is a 2% drop from last week. Similarly, 700,000 people in the key 18-49 demographic tuned in, which again is 2% down compared to last week.
The show was ranked number 1 in the 18-49 demographic on cable TV for the night.
