WWE Raw Viewership Up After Extreme Rules

WWE Raw Viewership Up After Extreme Rules

Last night’s WWE Raw saw an increase in viewership to 2.453 million after Sunday Extreme Rules pay-per-view, according to ShowBuzzDaily.

That’s up from last week’s 2.352 million.

What is perhaps most interesting is that instead of losing viewers throughout the show, as is usually the case, there was in increase in the hourly breakdown:

  • Hour 1 – 2.379 million
  • Hour 2 – 2.503 million
  • Hour 3 – 2.478 million

Bray Wyatt’s return may well have been the cause of the increase, as the clip has done considerably well on WWE’s YouTube channel with 1.7 million views as of this writing.

There was also an cross-brand Battle Royal main event to crown Brock Lesnar’s SummerSlam challenger for the Universal Title, which was won by Seth Rollins.
