WWE SmackDown commentator Wade Barrett has revealed a request he made of Michael Cole before their WWE Raw reunion for the January 20 episode.
On the January 20 edition of WWE Raw on Netflix, SmackDown commentator Wade Barrett appeared alongside Michael Cole on the call in place of Pat McAfee, who was absent due to his role on the pregame coverage for the College Football National Championship game on ESPN.
On January 21, Wade Barrett took to Twitter to reflect on being at the commentary desk with Michael Cole, revealing a specific request he made for Cole to not participate in Jey Uso’s entrance on the show.
He wrote:
“Yeah mate, I’ll come and work a #WWERaw with you, just don’t do any of that BS dancing.”
Didn’t listen.
Cole, as usual participated in the ‘Yeeting’ alongside the Dallas crowd during Jey Uso’s entrance at the beginning of the Raw broadcast.
During the opening segment Jey and his Saturday Night’s Main Event opponent GUNTHER came face-to-face, with Jey vowing to dethrone The Ring General and win his first-ever world championship.
