WWE Star Hints At Signing Multi-Year Contract Extension? WWE

WWE star Kevin Owens has potentially shared an update on his contract status, appearing to hint that he has signed a multi-year contract extension.

With it previously being reported that Owens’ WWE contract would be up in January, reports in late-2024 indicated that there was an air of secrecy surrounding his status.

Owens has seemingly revealed that he recently signed a five year contract extension, promising to wrestle for four years, 11 months and 22 more days under one condition.

Plugging his daughter’s Girl Scout cookies, Owens wrote:

If you guys help support my daughter’s Girl Scout troop by buying some cookies, I promise to keep wrestling for at least 4 years, 11 months and 22 days more.

If Owens has just revealed that he has re-signed with the company, this would mean that he’s expected to remain with WWE until January 29, 2030, which is of course four years 11 months 22 days from now.

Owens last wrestled at Royal Rumble, unsuccessfully challenging for Cody Rhodes’ WWE Championship in a ladder match.

Kevin Owens has been receiving a lot of praise following this match, not just for his in-ring performance, but also for his role in helping to put the bout together.

It seems that Owens is testing the waters as a WWE producer, with the former Universal Champion previously listed as a producer for his match against Rey Mysterio on the January 17 SmackDown episode.

An update has emerged on Cody Rhodes following the announcement that he suffered ‘multiple injuries’ at Royal Rumble, which you can read more about right here.
