While speaking with FOX Sports, WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin revealed that WWE has reached out to The Rock to appear on his Broken Skull Sessions show on the WWE Network.
This comes as Stone Cold Steve Austin’s latest Broken Skull Sessions episode drops on the WWE Network today featuring a fascinating interview with former SmackDown Women’s Champion, Bayley.
“I just will say we’ve extended the invite from way back. So, we’d love to have [The Rock]. Everybody knows he’s super busy. But, yeah, we’d love to have him as well. And that’s not throwing that out there to put pressure on him, because I know he’s busy! But, yes, we have asked … We’ll see.”
For those that don’t watch them, the Broken Skull Sessions on the WWE Network are incredibly easy to watch and fantastically informative, an episode with Steve Austin and The Rock would certainly be must-see.
What would make this episode specifically even better is the storied history that The Rock and Stone Cold have together, with the two legends working singles matches together at WrestleMania 15, WrestleMania 17 and WrestleMania 19.
