WWE’s Reaction To Konnan’s Incredible Rey Mysterio Hall Of Fame Speech

WWE’s reaction to Konnan’s incredible Rey Mysterio speech at the 2023 Hall of Fame ceremony has now been revealed.

Rey Mysterio, The Great Muta, Stacy Keibler, Andy Kaufman and Tim White were all welcomed into the WWE Hall of Fame following the March 31 edition of SmackDown.

Konnan notably inducted Rey Mysterio, making a passionate speech during the ceremony. Clips from this speech have since gone viral on social media.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Konnan’s segment was ‘very well received’ by WWE.

Interestingly, the opposite was said about another WWE Hall of Fame 2023 speech.

Rey Mysterio was a rare example of a legend inducted into the Hall of Fame while still being on the active WWE roster.

At WrestleMania 39, Mysterio defeated his son Dominik Mysterio in a one-on-one showdown, following months of Dominik tormenting him.

Rey Mysterio last wrestled on Monday’s (April 3) edition of Raw, losing to US Champion Austin Theory in singles action.

Theory is building momentum following his win over John Cena in the opening match of WrestleMania 39 Saturday.
